Post Body

Alright, I know I know.. age long discussion with probably 100's of posts in this reddit alone. I just feel like this is a different scenario and I'm unsure where to go from here.

Everyone starts at level 1.

My stats are 5, 16, 14, 20, 15, 13

Now here's the thing... the server I joined is EXP leveling and I won't have the same party everytime. Always different players with different styles. Wizards are nice because they can adjust their spells to everything, I just wonder if I am playing a dangerous game if I dont multiclass to be more durable.

I was already thinking the basics: Artificer 1/Wizard X Cleric 1/Wizard X

Going to pick up War Magic early on.

My question is.. should I stick to full caster and no multiclassing, or maybe go for a bit of melee with bladesinging or artificer battlesmith?

I mean.. order cleric is pretty good even at level 1 with its proficiencies. What do you believe is best? Just imagine that I can't rely on my party. (I have also always leaned to intelligence based characters, but if you have other suggestions, I am all ears!)
