I'm thinking of suggesting a game of roulette the next time my party can't decide on something like who should go first or something like that just to sorta force the game to go along incase the dm gets annoyed by the fact they sometimes take 20 minutes to decide on 1 course of action. Especially since I'm not playing a character to dumb to be afraid of consequences who just walks in everytime they take longer than 5 minutes.

How would this go, like obviously 1 of us shoots an arrow straight up in the air. Maybe do like 4 d20 rolls. Like we roll once knowing if we have the lowest overall score we'd get hit give people a chance to back out, then roll again add that to our overall score. Do that till the final roll, the arrow hitting the person who rolled the lowest and didn't back out taking damage but, getting to decide what we do? Idk I typically get bored when we take to long Especially since I only get to play 4 hours once a week. And we're constantly pausing because of indecision. Would this be a good way to gently nudge us along so we don't spend to much time?

I mean the alternative is that dm forces us to encounter enemies cause we took so long which has happened, and takes away the whole point of coming up with a strategy cause everyone knows we're there now. I mean I'm not sooo bothered by it, that it's ruining the game for me, I kinda like the karma that happens, but I'd like everyone to get the chance to do their idea. I'm not much of a strategic person I personally like the randomness of the rolls, and unpredictability. It just kinda sucks for them cause nobody can decide, and then the option gets taken away cause if it isn't we'll be there all night. I'm trying to see from everyone's perspective and I usually don't vote because typically I love everything everyone comes up with. Cause they're so creative, I'm just thinking of a way to let fate decide.
