Has anyone played the hemocraft casters?

The blood wizard and blood domain cleric both look really cool, but I want to know how they play.
Are cleric/wizards good for multiclass? I think it'd be fun to just go for all of the blood magic shenanigans for a character, but i havent heard of a "mystic theurge" type of character being played and I don't want to gimp my character.
