I posted a thread here asking recommendations for playing a druid but I only have a few vague ideas in mind for her actual backstory.
She's fey touched, speaks common, goblin (from race), and sylvan (because subclass gives sylvan), and has the hermit background.
The general ideas I had were along the lines of a "raised by wolves" archetype sort of character, she prefers the wilderness but travels to do good in the world. My initial idea was that she was born to commoners but for some reason (can be any reason, though i've had some ideas) ended up growing up in the wilds. Her motivation is to bring justice where it's needed and preserve the natural order wherever powers are getting too power hungry (so, neutral good). The idea I've had for her fey connections is that she maybe had a pet/familiar as a part of her backstory that ended up being a helpful fey spirit (this at least I can rp with the wild companion tcoe feature). She sees society as a bit of a necessary evil and doesn't put herself above or below it; I was playing with the idea of her reasons for growing up in the wilds being because her parents were the victims of some greedy nobles which fostered such a world view for her. The ethical reason she knows goblin is because she understands that even they have their place in the world aside from being little green monsters and will try to talk to come to an understanding if possible
As for the literal reasons for all of that, I'm kinda lost. Setting is Faerun, so I'm not sure how much of that lines up with Faerunian cosmology, and I don't really have a concrete reason as to why or how she became a druid either.
