While it works great on my printer and my transparencies and my filament, it may need different settings on different printers or a special brand of filament.
There's also some tweaking and experimenting to be done, like extrusion width for the first layer, temperatures, distance of the nozzle to the film etc.
If someone comes up with a subreddit name, I could create one and we could start from there. Another user already reached out to help me setup a github.
So if you do not already need a laser printer, wait until the process is proven to be reliable!
Also as other users mentioned, public libraries do most likely have printers! Just ask if you can print on transparencies first!
