Issues uploading .gcode from astroprint to octoprint.

I’m trying to start a print fully remotely. So, I got my .stl file and uploaded it to astroprint and sliced it. Then I downloaded the sliced .gcode file to my phone but when I try to upload it to octoprint I get an error message saying it needs to be a .gcode file…. But it is! I’m confused… any help would be appreciated!
