[Ender 6] Upgrading Heated Bed to Handle Polycarbonate?
Post Flair (click to view more posts with a particular flair)
Post Body

I have modified my Ender 6 a bit, and plan to try to print polycarbonate parts with it. So far I have replaced the hotend with a direct drive Biqu H2 hotend/extruder (including a metal mount on linear rails since it didn't like the PLA/PETG mounts I tried), fully enclosed it with a top cover, and added a CRTouch. The only issue I see to printing PC is that the heated bed is only rated up to 100C - not sure if that's a firmware-imposed limit or its' actual limit. However, I'm pretty sure I'll need to be able to hit around 130-150C on the heated bed to print 'real' PC successfully, and I might even need an enclosure heater. Are there any solutions to upgrading the bed heater? And, while I'm asking, any specific or previously-tested solutions to an enclosure heater for the E6?
