I started printing a few months ago. I have done some calibration stuff, and still learning a TON about all of this. It's really cool when everything works well, and really frustrating when it doesn't, especially to someone who doesn't really know what they're looking for yet.
I've tried a few different PLA filaments so far, and they have been pretty consistent across the companies and colors.
I just tried a new company today and I am on my 6th print today. It prints sooooo much better than any other one I have tried! Super clean exterior, smoother lines (or lack of), so much less of those little hairs from fine detail areas, and even more detail in the print. I really couldn't believe it.
I haven't changed anything on my printer except the filament, and I'm still surprised at it.
I am printing really small figures for a kids D&D group in my town, and I just thought a lot of the problems I had was because of me being new, and the printer not being top of the line. Those contribute, for sure, but man am I freakin happy with this PLA!
