I have tried for many weeks trying to improve oozing, but I haven't made any progress. I have done retraction distance settings from 0.8mm~2.0mm in Slic3r, but didn't see an improvement.
I also did a temperature tower, but I didn't see any improvement on stringing when lowering the temperature.
My printer is an mk2.5 Prusa, and the filament I was using is the monoprice PLA . The stringining happens with many filaments, however. The only one I've see stringining improve was the original PLA from Prusa.
Attached is a few pictures.
edit: my print settings are the default Prusa MK2.5 print settings. Lift Z is 0.6mm, retraction speed is 35 mm/s, speed for non-print moves are 180mm/s.
