Considering a Form2 3D Printer for home/hobby use - is it worth it?
Post Body

Title says it all. Was looking for some recommendations either way. It's a hefty price tag, but stereolithography is just so freaking cool and it looks like I'd actually be stepping up to a really good 3d printer.

I have a monoprice ultimate/wanhao duplicator now, which is ok. I'd really like to step up into something "pretty nice."

I have some concerns since the Form2 seems to be intended for businesses and a tank of resin is $149, when I'm used to spending like $20-$35 on a spool of filament, depending on type/brand.

I also read it's unable to create hollow objects, which seems like it would end up using a lot of resin pretty quickly.

So could anyone provide any reasons I should or shouldn't grab one? Any feedback is appreciated.
