Dead Replicator Dual

So our rep dual is dead. The board fried. Makerbot wants some 400 to fix it. What we would like to do if possible is take the parts (motors, rods, belts, fans, etc) and build a rep rap. Does any one know of one I could use these parts with? I know makerbot is 24v.
