I fully understand 3D prints are by definition not airtight. I am curious however if they might be airtight _enough_ to be at the end of a vacuum. I just want to make an small adapter from one vacuum pumps output to a slightly larger sized hole to create a better seal.
It doesnt have to be perfect but ideally most of the air would be vacuumed from the bag and not the sides of my TPU adapter.
Has anyone done something like this?
Alternatively I may just make a mold and press into it. This may seem obvious to people who have done this before but do silicone puttys designed for making molds also work for being put into molds?
