Help!! Extrusion kit not moving freely along the y axis. (Ender 3)

So i used a mix of a youtube video and the manual to assemble the printer up to this point with no issues. https://youtu.be/2Th2e7wTNV0?si=HOCasFAFKR248aUZ at roughly 12.40 in this video you can see that the extrusion running horizontally across the printer moves freely up and down. I know that it is not attatched too tightly to the profileusing, as it was moving without interference until i added the screw rod. Now the only way for the extrusion to move vertically is for me to rotate the motor attached to the screw rod by hand, or by forcing the bar up and down. Any ideas on what needs to be loosened/adjusted for this extrusion to move as seen in the video? Thanks!
