Is there a reliable source for judging strength on 3D printed components based on material type, walls, infill, layer height, nozzle size, etc?

It feels like there are just so many variables with 3D printing, I'm wondering if any sort of program exists where you can plug in variables or an .stl file and get reliable data on sheer strength, etc.

Does he design doors, or spaceships?

I know some programs have the ability to give you this information for standard building materials, but I didn't stumble upon it when I was messing work the free version of Fusion360.

I'll have to do more research, maybe just email some of the software companies.

Maybe I should just come up with software that does this. Haha.

I will check this out!

Yes! And then, depending on the day, ambient temp/humidity in an enclosure, etc, etc, even if you printed and tested a design in real life, there's no guarantee the same file printed a different day would be exactly the same.

But fortunately I'm not printing space ship parts that need to be super precise (apparently Boeing might be though...), but it would be for hanging or mounting artwork in a museum. So some level of confidence would be required, which a hopefully forgiving variance.
