Hi everyone. So I just got my first printed, an Ender 3 v1 (brought it used) pic 1
As soon as it arrived I did some disassembling/ cleaning/greasing(z-axis screw) and tightening some loose bearings(y/x axis) and leveling the bed(using the paper method since it doesn't have a Leveling sensor YET). And I went to do my first print and it went kinda alrighRight leveling test print in my opinion pic 2 but I keep getting this problem where the printer starts working fine but as it prints filament starts detaching/getting loose and spreading out pic 3 I don't know what could be causing it so I'm asking here for help. Anything can be helpful for me
My theory : - 1. The X-axis timing belt is kinda loose but not too much but maybe it's causing the problem
- Bad bed leveling on my part
- Wrong temperatures for material
I already discarded the filament because I just brought it yesterday brand new.
Print info Material : PLA 1.75 (yellow) Nozzle : 0.4mm Bed temp : 70.0 °C - 158°F Nozzle temp : 200.0 °C - 392°F
I was printing a small 3d dice key chain when it happened. I stopped as soon as the brim started doing this
