So I bought a heater for my resin printer enclosure and the thermistor detached somehow and was lost. I thought no big deal I have a bunch lying around (it uses the old booger style thermistor), but after attaching a spare I had laying the temperature is reading as -24ΒΊ C. I know negative readings can often be an indicator of the thermistor not being connected but I've confirmed that's not the case here.
So that leads me to believe the thermistor I had laying around was the opposite type of what the heater is designed for. Is it possible to modify this thermistor so I can use it with the heater or do I need to find another thermistor?
