I just brought a CR-10 Mini, flashed a bootloader and uploaded the latest version of Marlin (v2.1.2.1) with CR-10 Mini configurations. Downloaded a very simple Cube test print (stl) file into Cura and pretty much went with the basic settings. I thoroughly cleaned the glass bed with Isopropyl alcohol and leveled the bed as best as I could using the paper trick on all 4 corners.
Setup the print with the following parameters:
Layer height: 0.28 Initial layer height: 0.28 Bottom pattern initial layer: concentric Connect top/bottom polygons: true Printing temperature: 205 degrees C Intial printing temperature: 215 degrees C Travel speed: 60 mm/s Intial Layer Travel Speed: 35 mm/s.
The above recommendations were based on a YouTube video i watched about first layer adhesion issues (which I have been having).
The first layer sort of looks like its going to be okay and then it all goes bad and the printer nozzle starts moving the print around the glass plate (see video).
End result is the print fails.
Any suggestions for how to troubleshoot this?
