Thinking about getting a Bambu X1 - worth the "upgrade"?
Post Body

So for context, I have a Bibo 2 Touch, but I haven't printed in quite a while. I got frustrated trying to dial in settings for some ABS and PETG, and never really got the print quality I wanted for printing with PLA. I have dozens of warped benchies and one smallish print that I tried repeatedly, but ultimately gave up.

Now there are once again some things that I'd like to 3d print, mostly costume pieces/molds. I was about to just jump into it with the Bibo, but have been hearing about the Bambu X1 and seeing it looks pretty nice with the top working as a drybox, the ability to print over network, and the increased bed size.

The Bibo is currently having a fire sale for about a third of what I bought it at, which says to me that the technology is pretty outdated. Is the Bambu significantly better than the Bibo in terms of getting successful prints? Or will I magically get equally good prints with proper calibration?

I hate to say it but I don't really enjoy the "tinkering" part of printing as a hobby, mostly just the "printing" part as I just want to bring things to life (I'm not great at the postprocessing part either so anything that would mitigate that is even better).

Is there a side-by-side comparison of the two printers, or can someone give me any insight into the improvements over the Bibo, so I can make an informed decision? Any opinions on the matter?
