Im looking to organise a beach cleanup for a school project with a spin on it. The spin being that i recycle the different plastics collected into filament and 3d print something out of it. Im thinking, sculptures could be made out of the trash and could then be 3d scanned, printed, painted and sold to raise money to either fund more beach cleanups or something similar or go to charity.
My question is, what diy or preassembled extrusion machine should i be buying/building for this project? The two i have been most intrigued by were:
Lyman extruder V5: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:380987
Artme3D MK2 extruder: https://artme-3d.myshopify.com/
What i really need to know is, are either of these or is any extruder capable of turning ground up plastic scrap into filament?
