I have an Ender 3 Pro and it has objectively been the worst performing printer I have ever owned. I can't even say anything for print quality, because I have been fiddling with it on and off for almost a year and I have yet to have a single print that didn't fail in the first 5 layers. I follow all the tutorials for calibration, watched all the videos on setup and leveling. I can spend hours trying to level it, I have cleaned the glass bed with every soap and solvent in my house, tried every kind of blue tape and brushed it with every consistency of ABS slurry imaginable, and no matter what, the extruder either squashes up against the plate and doesnt extrude, or it lays down a line that does not adhere to the bed at all.
All I hear on this sub are good things about the Enders but this has been garbage. The only reason I even pulled it out of storage last week is because my Replicator 2x died after 10 years of working like a dream, my Replicator 2 can only print PLA, and I cant afford to buy another ABS printer right now.
I want to get it working if I can. What could be wrong, either with the printer of my technique? I have maybe a week left to finish printing my current project if I want to have it done in time for the convention I am printing for.
