Hey all so some of you out here may like this! Modeled a little swift vape into a vinyl toy figure. I plan to print them. I work for a decently sized company that manufactures 3D printed parts. We have cheap printers all the way up to huge industrial ones. I am solely responsible for maintaining & running a very special & particular type of 3D printer called a PolyJet machine. This machine prints in a liquid resin much like some standard resin printers but think if this one of you had a large sticker printer and a 3D printer had a baby. This printer prints with water soluble support material and can print in most cmyk colors. Basically this is the printer you are able to print full 3D human scans of in full detailed colors & have them print. This being said this printer gives me many abilities to print in a lot of colors & also materials (hard plastic resin like material & rubber-like material). Currently printing a 2 inch prototype to figure out some things & to see it physically before I make any other changes. I plan on making interchangeable body parts and facial features which can be picked & colors can be chosen based on specific versions. Im Thinking of releasing a 5-Color set production. 4 inch tall, each with their own special name & features can be swapped out & purchased after release. What do you all think?
