How to break the back case of the 2DS?

I recently brought a 2DS listed as spares and parts but discovered that I think something is just loose inside of it. I wanted to open it up but the screws on the back are completely and utterly stripped. I tried to wedge underneath the case and lift it off but the screws were holding it down pretty tight. What would you suggest I do?
