Game Save Transfer - Cart to eShop?

I'm planning on ditching my Pokemon Alpha Sapphire game Cart for the eShop version. I assume that as a worste case scenario I could put my Pokemon in the Bank and bring them into my new game copy but is it possible to transfer my actual game copy from the Cart to the shop version?
