So did anyone ever find a use for the code in W 5-1 Shy Guy Jungle? (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)

For the lazy: There is a trash heap in W 5-1 where you can pick up a bunch of discarded papers with various scribbles on them. A lot of them read like business memos, but one in-particular contains a code "XD3R-B8HH-9ZR2-FL16"
As of now I can't find anyone who's found a use for it, so it quite possibly could just be another piece of fluff written onto a scrap. Any thoughts?
Edit: Here's the most recent thread I found on the matter from a couple of months ago. Someone suggested that it might be related to Luigi's Mansion 2, and I suppose we could check that now that it is out.
