I'm fairly new to the concept of 3D printing. Certainly not new to firearms though. I was browsing designs that are out there and was a bit surprised that most designs are semi. Is there a reason there really doesn't seem to be much interest in pumps, bolts, or even levers? Do the current designs focus more on what is currently popular in actions & calibers? My initial thought would be to look at recreating actions that are inherently strong and calibers that are lower pressure to increase longevity. Am I thinking about the concept of 3D printed firearms totally backwards?
