I have a GTM supercharger with a Tial QRJ BOV. When driving and just barely accelerating I have a loud, annoying fluttering sound coming from the BOV. I'd say it's when I'm 5-15% on the throttle. Once over ~15-20% throttle the BOV closes fully and the sound goes away. I have a green spring in my BOV which is 2psi. I took apart the BOV and shimmed it with a washer, about a quarter inch. Did this just to see if it would add enough pressure to get rid of the fluttering, it didn't. Green is the highest pressure spring Tial recommends for superchargers. Anyone have any solutions?
Sound clips- 2 vids. Second is slightly better.
Edit: I'm wondering if I have it backwards and it needs a weaker spring, which Tial does offer a slightly weaker one. I read another thread where the maker of the Top Gun Supercharger kit recommended someone shim there BOV that had a fluttering issue, and he obviously would know.
