Day 6 for me today. Was listening to a recovery-focused podcast yesterday (Recovery Road Runners) and they mentioned replacing your addiction with a new habit. Eventually I’d like to be running again. I used to do it. Was good enough that I completed 3 marathons. Didn’t run while using meth because I was afraid the stress on my heart would be too much. So, I think for now I’m going to go for a walk. The most frequent time I would use was right after I got home from work - between 4:00 and 4:30. My plan will be to go for a walk when I get home. We’ll see how that goes.
