Muffler or res delete

Hey guys, I have an 09 335 and I was wondering wether I should go with the muffler delete or res delete. My city recently brought in the by law for modified exhausts so I’m worried about it being too loud and catching a ticket with the muffler delete. However, I’m feeling the res delete won’t make much of a difference in sound let alone really get me the sound of any burbles coming through. Any recommendations? Is the muffler delete really that loud on these cars?
