Question about sun screen

So I've used various sunscreen's in the past to varying degrees of success.

I use a spray-on sunscreen for my body.

For my face, I have a la roche-posay anthelios liquid sunscreen. I also have a Neutrogena mineral sunscreen stick.

I'm wondering if it'd be best to use one or the other for the sunscreen; or if I can say use the la Roche in the morning and then on re-application's of sunscreen use the stick. I just think that it would be easier to bring the stick with me on the go rather than a liquid face sunscreen.
