I started incorporating Niacinamide from The Ordinary in my skincare routine and it causes my skin to itch as well as redness. Is this normal?
Has anyone continued to use it and noticed the itching goes away after a while?
Any recommendations on other brands that aren’t as strong?
I love how my skin looks the next day but I can’t get past the itching although it does subside 5-10 mins after applying.
Currently my routine looks like this (I alternate my nighttime routine)-
Morning:
Wash my face with water
The Ordinary - Soothing & Barrier Support Serum
The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors
elf invisible Sunscreen
Nighttime 1 -
The Ordinary - Face wash
The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid
Advanced Snail 96 Mucin
The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid
The Ordinary - Niacinamide
The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors
Nighttime 2:
The Ordinary - Face wash
Advanced Snail 96 Mucin
The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid
The Ordinary - Retinol 0.5%
The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors
