Eczema breakout around my eyes - product/routine advice needed

Hi guys! I’m 32 with dry, acne-prone skin. Before I continue, I just want to note that I have an appointment with my dermatologist in May and am not seeking medical advice from this group.

Right now I’m having an eczema flair up on the skin around my eyes. I went to the dermatologist a few months ago to address my acne and started on clindamycin and Differin. Everything was fine, I eased into the products and definitely did not apply either to the skin around my eyes, but my eczema flaired nonetheless.

Right now I’m putting Eucerin cream on that skin followed by CeraVe ointment. It’s still looking red and it hurts.

My question is twofold:

1) For anyone who gets eczema on their face, what has helped the most to ease the discomfort/redness? Should I be adding new serums or creams to target the dryness? I don’t wash the affected area with any cleanser.

2) If anyone here has been through this, would you recommend I change my current routine for the rest of my face? My current routine is once a day and goes as follows:

Wash with CeraVe Acne Foaming cleanser

Apply clindamycin

Apply Differin every other day

Use Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve moisturizer (this is new, had been using Eucerin but was looking for something lighter for the summer. This was a recommendation from an employee at Sephora)

Finish with Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen

Any advice from folks who have gone through this would be greatly appreciated!
