300 BLK velocity data help.

Post Body

I checked the wiki ans did a search and couldn't find it, so hopefully this isn't a dupe thread.

I'm looking for as much data as I can find for 300Blk velocity for various barrel lengths. I've spend a few hours off and on trying to locate some good data but true to form for the last ten or more years, I find more discussions and videos of conclusions and less and less actual data to review and make my own decisions on.

So, the data points I'm interested in is the muzzle velocity of 300Blk pills in various weights, although primarily 220 and somewhat 110, fired from barrels 9.75" vs 16".

For context, and at risk of tainting the results, I have a PWS 9.75" and I'm looking at optic choices. Prefer a LPVO due to astigmatism, and I like the idea of a calibrated reticle. I'll be shooting subs most of the time, and most of the scopes I'm seeing are calibrated for a 220 grain bullet with a 16" barrel. So...trying to figure out if I can get close enough with muzzle velocity to use something like that out of my short barrel, or if I'm better off sticking to an MRAD reticle (which would just seem overkill to me for the distances I'll be shooting subs, but at least it's a system that is based on absolute measurements and not calibrated to something specific.

Thanks for any and all information!
