Storing 2cb in alcohol?

Sorry if this had been asked a million times already. I'm going to dissolve 100mg in some gin to volumetrically dose it, if we don't finish it in one go is it ok to leave it for a few weeks or months? I saw someone say that the alcohol would keep it sterile or something like that
