The last two times I took it at 20mg the experience was very chill and barely even noticeable. I was able to do my regular activities, I just had a mild body high and subtle psychedelic headspace. This time I tried 30mg just to see what would happen. All three times it was powder from the same batch so I know it wasn't just dosed incorrectly. I took around 7PM and figured I'd be finished maybe 3-4AM or 5AM at the latest.
I waited about 2.5 hours and experienced absolutely no effects. Thought it was a dud. Prepared to call it a night. As I was getting out of the shower I noticed I felt a bit weird. Less than 5 minutes later I was completely incapacitated. The open eye visuals were so strong I could hardly even see where I was going. The visuals were of such a bizarre nature as well- distinctly different from other psychedelics I have tried. I saw "the grid" (thats not unique) but also a lot of strange machines which were made out of what seemed to be flesh/meat. They weren't geometric at all- they were shaped like hunks of meat or boogers or something. They were very uncanny.
All I could do was sit in my chair where I stayed until 5AM. At that time I got enough of my senses back to realize it was not even close to ending. I took 30mg of valium- I was still tripping so hard, I was skeptical that this would even work- but it did eventually knock me out. When I woke up at about 10:30AM I was still noticeably tripping, but sober enough to at least pretend I wasn't.
Shit was crazy man. I never thought it could be like this. I've done 4g of shrooms, 500ug of acid... nothing was as crazy as this. Never expected it. Especially from just 30mg which is supposedly a medium dose. I've seen people say they take 80mg or more (along with MDMA) and then go out-and-about in society. I know it's still a psychedelic, but I had been under the impression that this was supposed to be a more "chill" experience.
