Signs of hppd?

Asking as I’m unsure if I have hppd or just visual snow. Over the past year or so I’ve started using 2cb, mushrooms and mdma, however this is only on occasion. The main stand out to me that says hppd is the fact I get small, pink circular patterns overlaying my vision when I smoke weed. I first experienced these when I smoked weed after a pretty heavy mdma session, and pretty much every time I smoke now I get them, even if they’re barely noticeable and I have to actively try and see them.

However, I do believe I have visual snow syndrome aswell. This has only really been noticeable over the past couple of years since I started smoking weed. It’s very light when sober but weed does exacerbate vs for me. Tbh I didn’t really know what vs was until I saw posts online, but after looking at symptoms I’ve come to realise that I have probably had this my whole life. As a child, I remember specifically wondering why at night, everything looked very static. I also get, and always have had positive after images when I stare at things and floaters, but hadn’t ever connected the dots until recently.

Can anyone share any experiences or such of early hppd, or when they first started noticing? It kind of seems like maybe the mdma weed triggered or altered something in my brain, so now just weed has visuals for me. I’ve read posts about weed being permanently trippier after psychedelics or the like, but I’m not too sure to what extent and what’s considered normal. Any help appreciated
