Last night my friends and I all went to a local edm fest in a pretty large group. Vibes were awesome, the set up was awesome and everything was going great at our pre party. As we headed to the festival we had one our friends who I wont name, we’ll just call her B, bring in our drugs.

About 2 hours into the start of the fest, still daytime and not very packed, we lose track of B for about 30 mins. We go to look for her and her partner and spot her running across the festival grounds and her partner running after her. They go to a tent and look like theyre just talking to someone they know so we head to another stage and text our group chat we’ll be over there.

About 15 mins into being at the other stage we see our two friends carrying B to the stage and she looks extremely disoriented, cant really stand straight and is speaking deliriously. She lost her balance and fell down so we sat with her on a curb trying to figure out what was going on. She keep looking at the sky and her hands and saying wow and kept having to be told who was there with her.

Her partner said in those 30 mins he didnt see her either, didnt know what she took or who gave it to her and they were only doing coke and drinking. My inital guess was a stranger may have offered her a bump of ketamine and while already intoxicated thought it was coke and took a large bump that reacted poorly with the amount of alcohol already consumed.

Security started to come up to B and surround us so B and her partner and friend decided to uber home and try to calm her down because she was visibly stressed and confused. Once they left I went around questioning everyone at the festival about where she was/who she was with.

At this moment I’m currently coming up on 2C-B from my nasal spray while also figuring out what the fuck is happening. I questioned everyone at the tent she was with, friends that knew her and finally our friend that was working the event.

Our friend that was working the event said he saw B during that time with our friend S, who we hadnt seen yet, and that S took what she took. I ran around and found S and asked her what they took, who she got it from, etc. S said she was told it was coke by B.

I asked S for the consistency of the drug. She said white clumpy powder, it hurt extremly bad to snort, and she instantly knew something was not right when she took a bump, she said B took a significantly larger bump than S did.

I instantly had an oh shit moment and asked S what bag it was from, she said a little red one. Oh fuck. I ran to my girlfriend and told her to give me her bag because B gave her the drugs we had her sneak in right when we got in. My girlfriend has 6 points of molly and did NOT have my 100mg red bag of 2cb powder that I was bringing for a friend.

I guess at some point in the night, B was already intoxicated and grabbed my bag of 2cb thinking it was a bag of coke, and did a massive bump. S said it instantly hit B and floored her, causing her to panic from both the unexpected pain and the quick onset psychedelic experience she was not expecting. Juding from the reminder of the bag we’re assuming the bump was around 40-60mg’s. Which is an insane nasal dose of 2cb for those unfamiliar with the substance.

She made it back home okay, I called her partner immediately and was guilt ridden and apologized profusely. They were just glad to know what the substance was finally, and where it came from and knowing it was physically safe. I spoke to B a little bit last night when she was able to text again and she said she never experienced anything like it, visuals were insane and she couldn’t distinguish what was reality and what wasn’t at some point. I’ll be seeing her later today to get the full trip report and report back.

I felt so bad about the situation but its being taken in a lighter spirit now. Please everyone double check what you’re doing before you do it, although this situation was safe and ended up being kind of just a goof it could have been way worse
