This build is reliable, light, and extremely useful in survival situations!
Jokes aside, I originally bought my Henry Survival Rifle as a backpacking tool. Since I don’t really go outdoors anymore (I’ve been too busy with college) I thought I’d trick the rifle out for fun. Where the stock originally went is replaced by a Haga Defense AR15 Stock adapter (in this photo I didn’t put the stock on) with a 3D printed pistol grip that surprisingly fit well. I’m going to keep the optic rail but the bulky ass sight is going to go on the AR (great entry level optic imo). I’m going to replace the barrel with an aftermarket one. It’s a really fun plinker and is still VERY compact if I needed to take it with me to go backpacking.
