So I’ve handled the 457 American and the Lux. I love the comb piece on the Lux but after looking at it the front sight is pinned to the barrel, we did notice that the hood comes off. I’d be attaching a scope (tbd first focal plane sub $350) the comb piece just made it fit so much better. Would the front sight post get in the way of an optic? Should I go with an American and be safe? I’m looking at purchasing through this website and I wanted to make sure they’re legit. They’re selling the American for $415 and the Lux for $450. I’d love to hear your opinions on the model, optic, and store thanks a ton!
