My fellow Russians,

As word of the failiure of the Imperial Army to maintain its hold on Copenhagen spreads across the Empire like a plague, St Petersburg has seen an increase in illegal assemblies as the enemies of the Realm use the grossly misreported facts of the Danish crisis against Her.

A leaked document written by chief Okhrana members reports that instances of subversive elements bubbling underneath the foundations of Russian society have increased by 30%, with two major terrorist rings broken up in the last few months. These are believed to be Jewish Communists funded by the Danish government. Investigations in the Jewish resettlements in Poland are ongoing.

In similarly grave news, the Tsar announced to the unruly masses in St. Petersburg today that a declaration of war has been received from Italy who seek to destroy our proud nation over the inconceivably insignificant issue of Russian involvement in Ethiopia. The war-weary crowd amassed in front of the palace went into an uproar over the declaration and was promptly dispersed by mounted cossacks.

"Our Allies in the North will stand fast and firm by Our side during these taxing times" Tsar Nicholas II announced to the unruly citizens. "Know that should the Italian barbarians ever truly threaten Our might, God's almighty justice through Our hand and the hands of our allies shall be dealt in one sweep."

Truly dark days lie ahead for the Empire, but as long as we stay true to God and Tsar we shall not falter in our unswerving mission of glory and exaltation for the Russian people.
