My fellow Russians,

The full force of the Russian Navy was shown last week as a sizable portion of the Baltic Fleet, the Tsar's pride and joy of the waves, sailed for Copenhagen in an attempt to cripple the Danish fleet while they lie moored in their ports.

"The Danish fleet represents a direct threat to the livelihood of Our Empire," the Tsar addressed the public today. "We cannot allow their treachery to continue unhindered."

Approximately two thirds of the Fleet has been deployed to the eastern coast of Denmark, while the remaining third remains on high alert and regularly patrols the Baltic Sea for any rogue Danes that might attempt to run the naval blockade.

Accompanying the main attack force heading for Copenhagen is a fighting force of roughly 50,000 men who will attempt a landing after the extensive naval bombardment of the capital.
