Nightfall sets upon the city of Nuuk, as the Canadian fleet arrives to the Greenland coast. Canadian troops begin boarding transport ships to begin a amphibious landing in a few hours. Although Greenland has very few inhabitants, the Canadians still send 1/3 (It would be unreasonable to send the entire Canadian army into an arctic wasteland) of their total forces for a display of force to the Greenland city. 100,000 Canadians board the transports and head towards the city of Nuuk, where 1,300 honorable natives of Nuuk defend alongside 9,100 Danish Marines stationed in the port city, for a total force of 10,400 men. The defenders know they are heavily outnumbered but rely on the small rocky islands outside the harbor and knowledge of Greenland's climate and geography to aide them, temperatures colder than the average Canadian winter and similar to Canadian coastlines. The battle begins.
