Winter Tires or Top Tier All Seasons for PNW?

As you all know we have summer tires from the factory so I'm looking into replacements as colder weather is approaching. I want to get two sets of tires/wheels, winter and summer, but live in a small apartment and dont have space to store an extra set.

Will I be okay with a set of high quality all seasons? I'm hoping to do a lot of skiing this winter so I will be going into so snow occasionally, but day-to-day not a lot of snow or ice.

What do you all suggest? Or anyone have tips or ideas on where to store an extra set of wheels tires if I go down that path? My building doesn't have any additional store space.
