Bossing noob question

Hello,

New to Reddit and bossing. Working on my stats to get 90 melee skills for Corp. out of curiosity, if you die during an attempt - is your stuff left outside the front with your grave as per any other death scenario since the recent death overhaul?

Also, do his stats restart if you teleport out of the instance (saw to go PoH to recharge spec)

Just curious as I have never attempted a boss before and want to give it a crack.
