How many times has a niche argument on reddit or OSRS general forum been taken out of proportions? Yes, too many. And taken out of proportion by Jagex. This time they took black d' hide argument and are making drastic changes to many popular and unpopular items. Tell me why, whenever a change is labeled 'integrity'(type of changes we get little say in), is it always something proposed by vocal minority?

It's because the vocal minority have a high chance of being Jagex donors. The few people on top of the OSRS class who probably mass bot, RWT, and manipulate items. Pretty much all the corrupt things players can do to amass in-game wealth. This wouldn't be a problem except in-game wealth can be transferred to real life wealth. There are literal countless companies that profit from this point and click games, it shouldn't be hard to assume that maybe these companies and individuals donate/share stock. Hence, is why we the general OSRS player base don't have much of an actual say, when the vocal minority speaks up.

Now why would people who seek to profit want these changes? black d hide inexpensive gear Dihn's bulwark = less income coming in for the pkers Item manipulators seeking drastic changes(they might have a say in development if they have an in) so they can make huge profits.

In the end of the game it really is just a game. It wouldn't take much to get a few or maybe even all members of OSRS leadership to push agendas that can make the vocal minority quick profits long term profits. It definitely wouldn't be hard to sneak a lower tier member to do big damage, as we have seen before.

This is why, if I see any nerfs go through, I will unsubscribe from my OSRS membership. I am part of the general player base. And have been dissatisfied every time Jagex prioritizes the vocal minority.
