Hi there, so I am trying to recover my account that I created in 2009. I go to log in and enter my credentials (I know they worked, I have them written down so I wouldn't forget after my schooling) and it says that they are incorrect. Ok sure, so I go to reset my password and it says do I have access to this email u****@g*.com? Well I don't, out of my 2 email accounts, none of them start with a u. So I go to the account recovery page and I fill it all out to the best of my knowledge, including 3 passwords, the billing statements from 2009 to 2011 including the first transactionID, credit card number, everything. Furthermore, the transactions occurred via another email account, the one registered with my account was my school email account which could of been compromised, I don't know how else you can change an email without access to it in the first place. I then get an email saying that it is denied due to them needing more information regarding passwords, including the creation password, the longest password and the earliest one you can remember. I know for a fact that 3 of them are correct, at least one of the 3 is the longest pw I can recollect, and that is all the space they provide. However, I've been reading that this is an automated response that authenticates your information before a staff member reviews it, and for it to actually work they need your creation password. I'm not sure if this is true but it's been 9 years and I didn't think I'd need to remember such a trivial piece of information. I played from 2009 until EOC was released and I left then when OSRS came back in 2013 I gave it a go and then again in 2016. I have 3 bond transactions to account for that as well. How come the transactionID's, card number, etc is not reviewed either? You'd think it'd be quite important in proving that one is the creator of an account, not just the passwords alone. I've read almost every post including the ones by Jagex staff members and I don't know what to do. Is there another way? Just want to get back into OSRS now that I've some time off.
