Aerial fishing, what to do with the fish?

So I’m on my mid game grind to get every skulking outfit. Currently working to get the fish sack from aerial fishing, Molch pearl shop.

I know you use a knife on these fish (bluegill, tench, etc.) to make chunks to continue using for bait at the aerial fishing spots, but can you do ANYTHING else with them? I see that they are tradeable, ge price shows when I examine them.

Took a look at the wiki and don’t see any info about cooking/healing with them, so just wanted confirmation:

Is the ONLY use for aerial fishing fish to be reused as bait to catch more in hopes of pearls/golden tench?
