I am really into this lifestyle and want to make it work if and when I find the right person. But I am a flying fly out worker, 28 days away, then 28 days back. So the traditional "dinner ready on the table" won't really work. What are your thoughts? Do these two lifestyles clash too much? Could you handle your man being away for so long regularly?
Just giving a heads up from a mans perspective with a wife who appreciates what he does.
I'm DIDO 9 day fortnight. I'm away from the wife and kids for at least 4 nights a week. It works extremely well.
- She appreciates the time that you are there and makes extra effort to impress.
- She knows that when you're away, things are going to be more difficult, but the caliber of your job means they are well provided for and benefit from the higher salary you bring in.
- She will understand that your time is precious and communication is limited when you're away. Minor household issues will be dealt with and only the big decisions, which you should be making, fall on your ears.
- Every time you arrive home, it feels as if you've been away for a year. She will show you how much she appreciates you when you return from shift.
Distance doesn't affect the ability of a woman to respect you for what you provide. You just need the right woman.
