So here it is. I have revived my interest in 1911s again. I would like to carry one. But here is the mix, I would like a classic looking one in .45 to curb my fetish for the old days, with a weapon light and extended beavertail so i don't get my hand chewed up like on my first 1911 but also to tickle my tactical itch.

So, blued, extended beavertail, light. Easy right?

Well, I want a compact or commander size, and to carry iwb with a tlr1 or if compact, a tlr6.

So i would like gun recommendations that i might not find in the research i have already done, holster recs as well if yall have any. Also to start a general discussion on carrying one of these thick boys.
