The air was thick with smoke and the stench of blood as the victorious tribe stormed through the conquered village. Cries of despair mingled with the clash of weapons and the crackling of burning huts. The village had been strong once, but now it lay in ruins, its defenders defeated, and its people either killed or captured.
Among the survivors was a woman, her eyes blazing with defiance despite the rope that bound her wrists. She had fought alongside her kin, wielding a spear with skill, but the tide of battle had turned against them. Now, she was a prisoner, dragged into the clearing where the remnants of her village were gathered.
The victors showed no mercy. They took what they wanted—food, weapons, and the strongest of the villagers to serve as slaves. The woman stood tall despite her capture, her spirit unbroken even as she was forced to her knees before the chief of the rival tribe.
Her heart ached for the home she had lost, for the freedom that was now a distant memory. Yet, deep within, she vowed to resist, to find strength in her captivity...
