Mixing Battery Cells in series?
Post Body

I'm rebuilding a Dyson Vacuum battery pack that has x6 18650 cells that need to be replaced.

I have exactly 5 of these:

And x12 of these:
https://www.bulkbattery.com/products/epoch-25p-18650-2500mah-20a-battery?variant=40599969693893

I am wondering if I can put 5 of the 2000 mah cells and 1 2500mah cell in series.

I've read in series this can be a problem for the BMS to detect the batteries and can cause overcharging.

I could use 6 of the 2500mah but it says they're not good for battery bulk pack.

All signs seem to be pointing to getting new battery cells, but I want to understand why these batteries are not recommended for battery pack, as well as the risks of having batteries in series
